This end grain cutting board is crafted completely from Black Walnut hardwood. Hand holds are routed into the ends and this board features a juice groove around one surface.

Optional rubber feet may be added in cart at no additional charge. If added, the feet will be mounted with stainless steel screws. If not added, the underside of the board may be used as a second cutting surface.

I started to build this board as I was readying the workshop for any flooding that may occur as Hurricane Laura was tracking straight for New Orleans. It was helpful to have a project going on as a distraction from bracing for a storm. Laura tracked west and made landfall as a Category 4 hurricane near Lake Charles, LA. I was lucky… many others were not. A lot of help is needed in the region to rebuild. All proceeds from the purchase of this cutting board will go to The St. Bernard Project.
